This interdisciplinary position focuses on advancing AI-driven energy systems research by enhancing the FAIRness, transparency, and interoperability of research data.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop semantic data models and knowledge graphs for energy systems– Build AI-powered tools for energy systems analysis– Collaborate with international experts in a leading research environment– Contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions

Requirements

– Background in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, economics, or related disciplines– Interest in data science, AI, energy technologies, and research data management– Strong motivation to work in an interdisciplinary and international team

Position Details

– 3-year funded PhD position (75% TVöD-Bund E13 + benefits)– Based at Forschungszentrum Jülich, one of Europe’s leading research centers
