Minimum 6-15 years in structural component design or one of the relevant gear unit technologies (component design, gear or bearing technology, auxiliary development)
Develop structural components technologies for individual components and sub-assemblies taking along the internal product requirements from an NVH, gears, TDI, cost-perspective.Provide subject matter expertise to 8D or RCAsIdentification of research partners, initiating and follow up of research projects.Take the lead in shaping the technology roadmap on structural components development
Expert on structural components with an affinity for new technologiesGood insights in gearbox system behaviour / Translating into structural comp,requirementGood skills in modelling casted parts (background on casting production process)Good skills on Topology optimization (strength/stress in Ansys or similar e.g.Optistruct )Good skills CAD software (Creo) / parametrized models, FEA software (Ansys)Knowledge about cost optimal designs. Able to use job specific/technical language in EnglishWillingness to sporadically travel
