Job Description

Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key duties: Software Development: Develop software code in C++ according to software requirements and design specifications, and perform thorough unit testing. Integration Testing: Develop software integration test scripts to verify the correct implementation of Tier 4 requirements. Traceability Management: Establish and maintain traceability from Tier 4 requirements to software code and tests. Code Review: Conduct peer reviews of software requirements, design documents, code, and test cases to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Review Support: Support Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and Formal Qualification activities. Project Management Support: Provide periodic status updates and required metrics data to support project management. Team Collaboration: Act as a strong team player within an agile environment, actively participating in design, code, and test development and reviews. Quality Assurance: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of version control and software quality attributes such as testability, portability, and maintainability. Dynamic Support: Be dynamic and provide support to management and leads to ensure successful product deliveries. Risk Management: Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities in a timely manner. Technical Guidance: Simulate various scenarios in FMS and guide the team on complex scenarios. Mentor and guide the team to resolve technical issues, proactively communicating with all stakeholders to find solutions for complex issues. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher is required. Self-Starter & Team Player: An ideal candidate is a self-starter who works effectively within a team. Programming Expertise: Solid programming knowledge with C/C++ and Python. RTOS Experience: Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). Requirement Development: Experience writing and developing software requirements with little to no existing requirements. FMS Experience: Strong experience in Flight Management Systems. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Operating Systems: Experience with Linux or Unix is desirable. Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain relationships/partnerships with customers, team members, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects. Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English, and possess a high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work. Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's) and typically 8 years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master's + 7 years related work experience). Relocation: This position offers relocation within INDIA based on candidate eligibility. Export Control Details: Non-US based job. Visa Sponsorship: Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
