Experience Design Lead

As an Experience Design Lead at Valtech in Singapore, you will have the opportunity to lead multi-disciplinary teams in shaping end-to-end experiences for enterprise clients across Asia. With over 10 years of experience, a growth mindset, and a drive to make a lasting impact, you will play a crucial role in moving from insight to strategy to design within agile delivery squads and regional programs. Your role will involve: - Leading end-to-end design processes, from problem framing to shipped experiences. - Facilitating design thinking and collaboration workshops. - Conducting user research, including interviews and surveys. - Creating meaningful information architecture, customer journeys, and user flows aligned with business goals. - Championing inclusive design and accessibility, ensuring it is integrated into every decision. - Prototyping, testing, and iterating with clear business objectives. - Mentoring junior team members and leading by example. - Designing for cross-cultural understanding, localizing flows, and content. - Guiding stakeholders through tough discussions and creating positive impact. - Supporting in pitches and potentially requiring some work-related travel. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A portfolio showcasing measurable client impact in digital solutions across web, mobile, and connected experiences. - Expertise in human-centered design across research, interaction, UI, content, and service design. - Proven experience in accessibility and inclusive design practices, such as WCAG/A11y. - Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma, Miro, and AI design tools. - Experience with Design Systems/DesignOps and effective communication with executives and teams. - At least 3 years of experience in Experience Design leadership roles. - Familiarity with XD research tools and enterprise software solutions. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience in Public Service, Travel & Hospitality, Retail, Health & Telco verticals, as well as familiarity with data reporting and visualization tools. To excel in this role, you should be eligible to work in Singapore and possess a strong understanding of APAC markets, their unique challenges, and opportunities.
