Job Description

Designation : Expeditor Engineer

Location : Pune

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Expedite fabrication work progress at vendor locations to ensure timely completion.
Possess clear understanding of fabrication drawings, processes, and structural fabrication activities.
Prepare and circulate regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Review materials availability, analyze work progress, and proactively raise alarms or flags for any delays or issues.
Identify and highlight constraints or issues to Head Office (HO) and coordinate for prompt resolution.
Monitor overall fabrication work progress against deadlines and take corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct preliminary quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in structural fabrication activities and expediting.
Previous experience working as an expeditor or buyer for structural fabricated items is highly desirable.
Strong familiarity with structural drawings and fabrication processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to create reports and presentations.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively.
