Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement process for plant maintenance services, utilities, facility management, and IT purchases (hardware, software, licensing, and support services).
Develop sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Identify and onboard suitable vendors, evaluate proposals, and conduct commercial negotiations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as maintenance, operations, IT, and legal to define specifications and finalize contracts.
Administer contracts and service agreements, ensuring performance, compliance, and timely renewals.
Monitor supplier performance metrics (quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness) and address deviations.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, vendor performance, and cost reduction initiatives.
Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and audit requirements.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (mandatory); a post-graduate qualification in Supply Chain/Procurement is advantageous.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing plant services and IT products/services.
Strong knowledge of contract terms, SLA/KPIs, and procurement compliance.
Solid negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and in MS Office tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
