Role & responsibilities * Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and standards in line with legal and company requirements. * Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections across the plant/facility. * Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., Factories Act, Environmental Regulations, Fire Safety, etc.). * Promote employee awareness and training programs related to occupational health and safety. * Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective/preventive actions. * Coordinate with pollution control boards, government bodies, and external agencies during audits and inspections. * Maintain documentation, records, and reports related to EHS performance and compliance. * Support in waste management, hazardous material handling, emergency preparedness, and sustainability initiatives. Preferred candidate profile * B.Sc. / B.Tech in Environmental Science / Industrial Safety / Engineering or equivalent. * Diploma in Industrial Safety (recognized by AICTE/DGMS) preferred. * 48 years of experience in EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup. * Good knowledge of EHS laws, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. * Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
