Key Responsibilities:

Goods and Services Tax (GST):

Issue GST documents: E-invoices, E-way bills, Delivery challans
Maintain organized records of GST transactions and invoices
Scrutinize ledgers for GST liability including reverse charge mechanism
Reconcile GST Input Tax Credit with GSTR 2A/2B and follow up with vendors
Assist in preparation of GST returns: GSTR 1, 3B, 6, 9/9C
Support GST refund applications
Ensure books of accounts align with statutory returns
Maintain statutory records and retention
Contribute to process improvement and automation

Income Tax:

Assist in monthly TDS liability calculation and quarterly TDS returns (26Q, 27Q)
Issue quarterly TDS certificates to vendors
Reconcile books with statutory returns
Support responses to tax notices and document collation
Assist in tax audits and statutory audits

Other Tasks:

Support monthly financial closing and sign-off
Perform account reconciliation and tax/AR balance sheet proofing
Handle ad hoc requests efficiently

Qualifications & Experience:

Total Experience:
5 years (Minimum 3 years in Corporate Tax)
Mandatory Skills:
GST knowledge
Recommended Skills:
Direct & Indirect Tax exposure
