Job Title: Executive - TBR Manufacturing
Location: Chennai Office
Reports to (Position):
Department/Function: TBR Manufacturing

Purpose of the Job: Responsible for to achieve the key Production objectives through innovative manufacturing practices and process.

Major Responsibilities:

• To lead shift operation of production process
• To coordinate the materials and manpower in the shift operations and to achieve the targets
• To achieve the objectives of Business Unit through innovative production methods
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements.
• Deploy modern manufacturing practices/ tools to achieve throughput efficiency and optimum productivity
• Maintain Machine health in show room condition by deploying high standards of Plant maintenance
• Deploy Quality management tools for problem solving and ensure high process capability
• Show strong team leadership and ensure professional transaction with peers and SMT members
• To train new TMTs in respective BU
• Ensure all relevant documents like PIBS/SAP/MII are complete as per the procedure.
• Ensure discipline in the shop floor & plant.

Knowledge (Technical / Functional).

• TPM / TQM knowledge
• Lean manufacturing methods
• 5S systems
• Knowledge in Tyre Manufacturing
• Technical knowledge of operation of machine in the BU
• Knowledge on Production Planning
• Knowledge on PIBS/MII/SAP
• Knowledge in safety requirements across processes
• Knowledge on customer requirements (internal/external)
