Executive / Senior Executive Operations (Air & Ocean)

As an Air Freight Operations Manager in Bangalore, your role involves managing end-to-end operational activities for both Air and Ocean shipments. This includes preparing and processing AWB, MAWB, and HAWB for air shipments, submitting Airline Shipping Instructions (ASI), and preparing Gate Passes for air cargo. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting the Final Handover Set for air exports, including E-AWB documentation. Additionally, you will draft and process BL, MBL, and HBL for ocean shipments and coordinate with customers and customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance for both air and ocean shipments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with airlines and shipping lines for bookings, carting arrangements, and schedule management. - Preparing and verifying shipment invoices to ensure accuracy and timely submission. - Maintaining detailed records and documentation in compliance with international trade laws and regulations. - Monitoring shipment movements, providing timely updates, and proactively resolving any issues or delays. - Ensuring daily operational efficiency and coordination across departments and external stakeholders. Having a DG (Dangerous Goods) certification would be an added advantage for handling hazardous materials in air freight. Qualifications required for this role: - Prior experience in air freight operations management. - Strong knowledge of AWB, MAWB, HAWB, BL, MBL, and HBL documentation. - Excellent communication and coordination skills with customers, customs brokers, airlines, and shipping lines. - Familiarity with international trade laws and regulations. - Ability to maintain detailed records and ensure operational efficiency.
