You will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational activities for both Air and Ocean shipments in Bangalore. This includes preparing and processing AWB, MAWB, and HAWB for air shipments, as well as submitting Airline Shipping Instructions and preparing Gate Passes for air cargo. Additionally, you will be in charge of preparing and submitting the Final Handover Set for air exports, including E-AWB documentation, and drafting and processing BL, MBL, and HBL for ocean shipments. Your role will involve coordinating with customers and customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance for both air and ocean shipments. You will also be required to liaise with airlines and shipping lines for bookings, carting arrangements, and schedule management. It will be part of your duties to prepare and verify shipment invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. As part of your responsibilities, you will need to maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with international trade laws and regulations. Monitoring shipment movements, providing timely updates, and proactively resolving any issues or delays will also be crucial aspects of your role. Ensuring daily operational efficiency and coordination across departments and external stakeholders is essential. An added advantage for this position would be a DG (Dangerous Goods) certification for handling hazardous materials in air freight.,
