As a Supplier Management Officer at our company, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance. - Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers. - Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. - Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. - Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies. - Maintain accurate and organized records of all purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts. - Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Work closely with various departments, including R&D, production, and quality control, to understand their material and service needs. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: MBA - Experience: Fresher, with relevant internships or project experience in procurement/purchasing preferred. - Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus. - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
