Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Policy Issuance

Process and verify insurance policy issuance for customers in accordance with company guidelines.
Ensure timely issuance of policies, handling all necessary documentation and approvals.
Coordinate with insurers to resolve any discrepancies or delays in policy issuance.

Data Management
:
Maintain and update records related to policy issuance, ensuring accurate and timely entry into systems.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to track, analyze, and report on issuance metrics (e.g., processing time, volume, errors).
Customer Interaction
:
Communicate with customers to resolve any issues related to policy issuance, address concerns, and ensure a smooth post-purchase experience.
Assist the customer support team with escalations related to policy issuance or errors.

eporting & Documentation
:
Generate regular reports related to policy issuance and track key performance indicators.
Prepare and submit data for internal and external audits as required.
Continuous Improvement
:
Suggest improvements in process and workflows to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Support, IT) to streamline the policy issuance process.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience
: At least 1 year of experience in policy issuance, insurance operations, or a related field.
Excel Skills
: Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, data analysis, etc.) to manage large volumes of data and generate reports.
Attention to Detail
: High accuracy in handling data and ensuring all policy issuance documentation is complete and compliant.
Communication Skills
: Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
Problem-Solving
: Ability to identify problems in the policy issuance process and proactively work to resolve them.
Team Player
: Ability to work effectively with various departments and colleagues.
Time Management
: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
