KPMG India is looking for Executive - Major Projects Advisory to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. you will play a role in supporting and advising clients on major transformation projects within their organizations. You will provide guidance and expertise in project management, change management, and strategic planning to help clients achieve their transformation objectives. This position requires strong consulting skills, project management expertise, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics. Responsibilities : Project advisory : Provide strategic guidance and advisory services to clients undertaking major transformation projects. Assist in defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Collaborate with clients to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Project management : Lead and manage major transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline. Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential risks and issues. Implement project management methodologies and best practices to ensure successful project outcomes. Change management : Develop change management strategies to support the successful implementation of transformation projects. Identify stakeholders and assess their readiness for change. Develop communication plans, training programs, and other change management interventions to promote stakeholder engagement and adoption of new processes and technologies. Risk management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with major transformation projects. Conduct risk assessments, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement controls to minimize project risks. Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to address emerging issues. Stakeholder management : Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Build strong relationships and manage expectations to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, meetings, and communications to promote project transparency and buy- in. Performance monitoring and reporting : Establish project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress and success. Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership. Conduct post- implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement. Continuous improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within project management and transformation methodologies. Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management frameworks, tools, and templates. Share best practices and lessons learned with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Thought leadership : Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and transformation. Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, whitepapers, and case studies. Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and forums to enhance professional knowledge and network with peers. Team leadership and development : Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Support the professional development of team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in management consulting, project management, or advisory roles within transformation projects. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational challenges. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead and motivate cross- functional project teams. Proactive and results- oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high- quality outcomes. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Change Management certification are a plus.
