Executive - HVAC MEP Estimator

As an HVAC & MEP Estimator at our company, your primary responsibility will be to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects. You will analyze project plans, assess material and labor costs, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure competitive and profitable bids. It is essential that you are proficient in using Procore Software for generating Estimates. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in HVAC and/or MEP estimating. - Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods. - Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Accubid, Trimble, or PlanSwift. - Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit preferred. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Work Environment & Salary: You will typically work in an office setting with occasional site visits. Key Responsibilities: - Review project blueprints, specifications, and technical documents for estimate preparation. - Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. - Determine material, equipment, and labor costs accurately. - Develop project budgets and timelines. - Analyze project scope to prepare competitive bid proposals. - Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and availability. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials/methods for value engineering. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to refine estimates. - Stay updated with industry trends, material costs, and labor rates for accurate forecasting.
