Senior Hyperion Essbase Consultant

As an experienced Hyperion Essbase Consultant, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining Hyperion Essbase solutions to meet our organization's financial and operational planning, reporting, and analytics needs. Your deep expertise in this area, along with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude, will be essential for success in this role. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Hyperion Essbase solutions for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will build and maintain Essbase cubes to support complex financial models and analytics, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across systems. Collaborating with finance, accounting, and other business teams, you will gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet client needs. Additionally, you will optimize Essbase applications for performance, conduct data integration and validation activities, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. Staying updated on the latest Oracle EPM and Hyperion Essbase technologies and best practices will be crucial, as you lead training sessions for users and internal teams. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing Hyperion Essbase applications. Proficiency in Essbase Studio, EAS, and EIS is required, along with a strong understanding of financial planning processes and SQL. Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud is a plus, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Soft skills such as the ability to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will also be essential for success in this role.
