Position Overview:

The HR Executive will be responsible for managing plant-level HR operations, including contract labour management, attendance and payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee welfare, and general HR administration. The role ensures that all HR processes align with company policies and statutory requirements while maintaining a positive and disciplined work environment at the Dabaspet plant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Labour Management

  • Coordinate with contractors for daily manpower deployment and attendance.
  • Verify and monitor contract labour records, wage sheets, and statutory registers.
  • Ensure timely submission of ESI, PF, and other statutory compliance documents by contractors.
  • Support contractor audits and maintain documentation as per CLRA and Factories Act requirements.
  • Facilitate gate pass issuance, ID cards, and access control for contract workmen.

2. Attendance & Payroll Coordination

  • Monitor daily attendance and shift schedules of employees and contract labour.
  • Verify overtime records and leave data for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with the corporate HR/payroll team for monthly salary inputs.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of attendance MIS and reports.

3. Statutory Compliance & HR Documentation

  • Maintain statutory records under various labour laws (Factories Act, CLRA, PF, ESI, etc.).
  • Assist in handling inspections and audits by government authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal HR and QMS/ISO standards.

4. Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Handle employee queries and grievances related to attendance, payroll, and HR policies.
  • Support welfare activities such as health camps, uniform distribution, and safety initiatives.
  • Promote positive employee relations and discipline on the shop floor.

5. HR Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain employee personal files and HR databases.
  • Prepare and circulate daily/weekly/monthly HR MIS reports.
  • Support internal communication and coordination with cross-functional departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    MSW or MBA in Human Resources.
  • Experience:

    35 years in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing/ Auto Parts.
  • Technical Skills:

    MS Office, HRMS tools.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
