Executive Director IT Data Enablement

As the ED, Data & Analytics Strategy at a global healthcare biopharma company, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing the organization's IT data strategy. Your expertise in Data & Analytics technologies and business processes will enable you to drive innovation and execution excellence. Here's what you will do in this role: - Lead and execute the organization's IT data strategy, ensuring alignment with financial goals and operational efficiency, as well as with the enterprise data strategy. - Oversee the governance of the IT data domain and its critical sub-domains, enabling a strong data stewardship culture and leveraging data analytics for continuous improvement. - Maintain the data governance model and framework, including councils and committees, to ensure accountability at all levels. - Lead initiatives that promote data stewardship and ensure data accuracy, accountability, and timely delivery. - Manage a skilled engineering and delivery team to deliver and manage underlying technologies, platforms, and integrated data layers. - Establish partnerships with stakeholders such as Enterprise Architecture, IT Data leaders, IT Finance, and Business of IT teams. - Make product decisions aligned with the product strategy and drive adoption, user experience, and value realization. - Guide the team in developing product metrics and drive continuous product discovery to understand user needs. - Lead release and support planning and execution, manage multiple technology teams, and promote career development and upskilling. - Monitor and optimize the product's total cost of ownership. - Develop an executive external presence and internal networks to recruit diverse talent and stay current with industry trends. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, or technology with at least 15+ years of experience in Data & Analytics technologies, product management, and IT leadership roles. - +10 years of hands-on experience in data management, governance, cloud environments, and data & analytics technologies. - Experience in leading and managing large D&A teams focused on services, products, platform, and technology delivery. - Strong quantitative skills, ability to use data and metrics for decision-making, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
