Job Description

Job Summary:

responsible for the overall kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, staff management, inventory control, and maintaining the highest food quality and hygiene standards. This leadership role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development & Innovation:

  • Design and update menus with creativity and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure dishes meet taste, quality, and presentation standards.

Kitchen Management:

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and coordinate with other departments.
  • Ensure food preparation is consistent with recipes and portioning standards.

Staff Leadership & Training:

  • Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs and line cooks.
  • Conduct performance reviews and foster a team-oriented environment.

Inventory & Cost Control:

  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation.
  • Monitor food costs, labor, and waste to meet budget targets.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations and food safety laws.

Customer Experience:

  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
  • Address guest feedback related to food and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and a deep understanding of kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., Serve,Safe certification).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in international or fine-dining cuisine.
  • Budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
