Job Description

Provide proper orientation to OPD process and registration. Ensure OPD assessment. Explain fall prevention measures to vulnerable patients and provide support. Ensure the investigation is carried out without delay. Inform the patient facilities & privileges available for them. Inform the resident doctor/consultant about the patients arrival. Provide Patient and Family Education on preventive aspects in OPD. Maintain inventory of equipments, CSSD items like linen, and other instruments etc. Ensure proper functioning of all the equipments and instruments and inform the TL, if required. Ensure proper billing of the procedures done. Assist the patient and observe the condition, Vital signs, Hemodynamic status. Prepare and administer medicines, Injections, I/V Injections, immunization in OPD. Guide the patient to various units for diagnostics, tests and procedures. Assist the doctors in OPD during dressings. Participates in hospital quality improvement programme. Maintain aseptic practice while doing dressings. Ensure that the patient's documents are complete and dispatch them to the medical records department. Help the patient/attendant in completing admission formalities in OPD. Coordinate with the members of health care team. Coordinate with the diagnostics departments for the collection of patient's reports. Make and send indent for the urgently required items. Ensure cleaning and disinfection of items used. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Male Candidates more preffered with OPD billing experience
