Executive Application Development Backend Development

As an Application Support specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting .NET applications in a production environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Troubleshooting and resolving application issues reported by users or identified through monitoring tools. - Collaborating with development teams to deploy patches, updates, and new releases. In terms of SQL Database Management, you will be expected to: - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring data integrity and availability. - Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions as needed. For Incident Management, your tasks will involve: - Providing support to end-users by addressing application-related queries and issues. - Conducting user training sessions as needed to improve user proficiency with the applications. - Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to enhance application efficiency. - Maintaining comprehensive documentation of application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. You will also need to: - Respond to and manage production incidents promptly, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. - Document and track incidents, resolutions, and root cause analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive measures and reduce future incidents. Essential functions for this role include: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to create timely solutions and resolutions for application issues. - Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to best practices. - Staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in .NET and SQL development and support. In your primary internal interactions, you are expected to: - Share knowledge with team members and proactively maintain and increase technical knowledge within the team. Regarding external interactions: - Communicate with onshore stakeholders & Executive Team Members. - Interact with clients and stakeholders to understand expectations and streamline solutions. You may need to act as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team.
