Executive - Accounts Payable

Ideally the candidate needs to be well-versed in accounting concepts, be self- driven and with good communication in English, both verbal and written as most of the projects under this business unit are for US based clients. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining historical records
• Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
• Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Continuing to improve the payment process
• Producing monthly financial and management reports
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis

Requirements

• 1-2 years of proven work experience in accounting processes 
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, and good hold on language 
• Hands-on experience with processes that involve accounting 
• Hands-on experience with use of spreadsheets, MS-Excel. 
• Experience working in a project-based service industry is a plus

Education

• Bachelors or masters degree in commerce or business administration 
• Any added certification either in accounting, management is a plus 
• Equivalent academic and work experience can be considered.
