Record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system (Sales, Purchase Receipts, Payments, Journals)
Maintain ledgers for customers, vendors and general accounts
Ensure proper documentation for all transactions
Prepare and processs vendor bills, payment vouchers and purchase entries
Follow up with customers for collections and maintain ageing reports
Reconcile vendor statements and customer ledgers monthly
Handle daily cash and bank transactions
Prepare bank reconciliation statements
Monitor petty cash and ensure proper documentation
Assist in GST Preparation, returns filing and reconciliation
Support TDS Calcuation, deduction and filing
Maintain statutory records and coordinate with auditors
Prepare monthly P & L, balance sheet schedules and other MIS reports
Assist in finalisation of accounts
Provide data to management as required
Coordinate with stores for inventory records
Assist in physical stock verification
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Liaise with banks, auditors , vendors and internal teams
Support management during audits and reviews
Skills and Education qualifications required:
B.Com/M.com or equivalent
Good knowledge of GST/TDS and basic accounting principles
Technical proficiency in Tally ERP/SAP/Quickbooks
Strong excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot table)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under deadlines
