Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement national/regional sales strategies

    to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets.
  • Lead and manage the dealer network

    by strengthening relationships, driving performance, and expanding distribution channels.
  • Drive new business development

    through fleet sales, institutional clients, and corporate partnerships.
  • Forecast, monitor, and report sales performance

    with data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams

    to design go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and new product launches.
  • Mentor, motivate, and lead sales teams

    across regions to deliver high performance and achieve targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging trends

    such as EVs, digital sales channels, and mobility solutions.
  • Optimize pricing strategies and discount structures

    to balance profitability with competitiveness.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention

    by integrating after-sales performance into sales strategies.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, exhibitions, and strategic alliances

    to strengthen brand

Preferred candidate profile

  • 15 to 25 years of proven experience

    in automobile sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (GM / National Sales Head / VP).
  • Strong background in passenger & commercial vehicle sales

    , dealer management, and channel development.
  • Demonstrated success in

    achieving sales growth and revenue targets

    across multiple regions.
  • Experience in

    building, leading, and mentoring large sales teams

    across geographies.
  • In-depth knowledge of

    automobile market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis

    .
  • Exposure to

    fleet, institutional, and retail sales models

    , along with after-sales integration.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

    with top dealers and corporate clients.
  • Proficiency in

    CRM, sales automation tools, and MIS reporting

    for data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategic thinker with

    strong business acumen and financial understanding

    to drive profitability.
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing (preferred) with a proven track record of leadership in reputed automobile brands.
