Job Title: EVS (Environmental Studies) Teacher

Location: Sisai Bolan, Hansi
Department: Academic – Primary/Middle Section
Reporting To: Head of Academics / Principal

Job Summary

The EVS Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of environmental science, nature, ecology, and sustainable living. The role focuses on creating curiosity and environmental awareness through interactive teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons as per the school curriculum and academic calendar.
• Use activity-based and experiential learning methods to teach environmental concepts.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and worksheets aligned with grade-level learning outcomes.
• Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, and periodic tests.
• Organize environmental awareness drives, nature walks, and eco-club activities.
• Maintain discipline, participation, and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Communicate regularly with parents and coordinate with colleagues for integrated learning.
• Participate in staff development programs, workshops, and school events.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Education, or related field (B.Ed. preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the EVS curriculum and environmental topics.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for environmental education and child-centered teaching.
• Ability to integrate technology and creative teaching tools in lessons.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in an EVS or Science subject preferred.
• Freshers with strong educational background and teaching aptitude may also apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹9,836.19 - ₹18,076.60 per month
