Event & Media Campaign Manager

As an Event & Media Campaign Manager in the Media & Politics sector, your role will involve leading strategic planning, seamless execution, and performance analysis of political and media-focused events and campaigns. You will work towards shaping public conversation and driving support through various initiatives such as town halls, digital advocacy, and rallies. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Strategy & Messaging:** - Designing campaign/event strategies by utilizing demographic and media data to drive effective decision-making. - Crafting and adapting core messaging for target audiences and emergent issues. - **Event Execution:** - Managing logistics including permits, venue, equipment, and speakers for rallies, town halls, and fundraisers. - Briefing spokespeople/candidates and preparing them for media interactions. - **Media Coordination:** - Liaising with press, writing releases, op-eds, and managing interview schedules. - Overseeing social and digital ad campaigns to amplify messaging. - **Fundraising & Budgeting:** - Planning and running donor events. - Tracking budget and ensuring compliance with campaign finance laws. - **Team & Grassroots Engagement:** - Recruiting and managing staff and volunteers. - Coordinating field operations such as canvassing and phone campaigns. - **Crisis & Rapid Response:** - Monitoring media, addressing misinformation, and deploying rapid rebuttals as needed. - **Performance Analysis:** - Tracking KPIs including attendance, media coverage, donations, and digital metrics to refine strategies. You should be proficient in event planning, media relations, and digital campaign platforms. Strong communication skills, crisis management readiness, and a data-driven, budget-savvy approach will be essential for success in this role.
