Event & Media Campaign Manager

As an Event & Media Campaign Manager specializing in Media & Politics, your role involves leading strategic planning, seamless execution, and performance analysis of political and media-focused events and campaigns to shape public conversation and drive support. Key Responsibilities: - **Strategy & Messaging:** - Design campaign/event strategies using demographic and media data to drive your objectives. - Craft and adapt core messaging for target audiences and emergent issues. - **Event Execution:** - Manage logistics including permits, venue, equipment, and speakers for rallies, town halls, and fundraisers. - Brief spokespeople/candidates and prepare them for media interactions. - **Media Coordination:** - Liaise with the press, write releases, op-eds, and manage interview schedules. - Oversee social and digital ad campaigns to amplify messaging. - **Fundraising & Budgeting:** - Plan and run donor events. - Track budget and ensure compliance with campaign finance laws. - **Team & Grassroots Engagement:** - Recruit and manage staff and volunteers. - Coordinate field operations like canvassing and phone campaigns. - **Crisis & Rapid Response:** - Monitor media, address misinformation, and deploy rapid rebuttals as needed. - **Performance Analysis:** - Track KPIs such as attendance, media coverage, donations, and digital metrics to refine strategies. You should be proficient in event planning, media relations, and digital campaign platforms.
