Evaporation Operator

Your role overview involves operating and maintaining the Evaporation plant in a Distillery industry to ensure smooth production while maintaining quality standards. You will be responsible for following the Evaporation Process through DCS, adhering to SOPs, monitoring parameters, conducting tests, and collaborating with maintenance to address mechanical issues. Additionally, you will need to communicate effectively with team members, maintain accurate records, and participate in safety programs. Key Responsibilities: - Operate DCS for the Evaporation plant to maintain gravity and various parameters as per company norms - Follow SOPs for plant start-up, shut down, cleaning, and batching - Monitor parameters and make adjustments on the DCS according to sample results - Keep accurate logs and notify management of any production problems - Collaborate with maintenance to address mechanical issues - Notify Shift in Charge / AM Process of any production problems - Assist in other areas as needed and complete assigned tasks - Participate in safety programs and ongoing training sessions Qualifications Required: - XII / Graduate with 5-8 years of experience in a Distillery industry - Technical and hands-on practical ability - Prior alcohol experience is imperative - Good knowledge across all facets of the ENA process - Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to work flexible shifts - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work unsupervised - Advanced critical thinking and troubleshooting skills - Fluency in English for effective communication - High attention to detail and compliance with quality standards - Basic computer operation and data entry skills Please note that the above responsibilities and qualifications are essential for the role.
