Distillation Operator

As a candidate with 5-8 years of experience in the Distillery industry, you are required to have a technical and hands-on practical ability, along with prior alcohol experience. Your knowledge across all facets of the ENA process, including milling, fermentation, distillation, evaporation, decanters dryers, boiler, and water treatment, is imperative for this role. A positive attitude, team player mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile are essential qualities. You should be ready to work floating or alternating shifts when required and be able to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards. Strong mechanical aptitude, adherence to standard operations procedures, advanced critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills are necessary attributes. Fluency in English for effective communication, high attention to detail, basic computer operation skills, and data entry proficiency are also required. Your responsibilities will include following the Distillation Process through DCS and ensuring smooth operations for production with quality standards. Operating DCS for the plant, following procedures for every parameter, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures for plant start-up, shut down, cleaning, and batching are vital tasks. Monitoring and making adjustments on the computer control system according to sample results, keeping accurate logs, and notifying management of any production problems are key duties. Collaboration with maintenance for mechanical issues, communication with the Laboratory for testing procedures, and informing the Shift in Charge / AM Process of any production problems are essential tasks. Completing assigned tasks, assisting in other areas as needed, participating in safety programs and training sessions, and following all safety procedures are also part of your responsibilities.
