Job Description

Job Summary:

EV Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and servicing of EV charging stations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, wiring issues, and equipment failures.
Handle installation, commissioning, and testing of chargers (AC & DC).
Ensure timely repair and minimal downtime of charging stations.
Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
Attend breakdown calls and provide quick technical support on-site.
Maintain service logs, documentation, and daily reports.
Coordinate with the operations team for parts replacement and inventory management.
Follow all electrical safety standards and company procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

ITI (Electrician / Electronics) or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
Strong understanding of basic electrical concepts, wiring, connections, and circuits.
Knowledge of electrical safety, earthing, and load management.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and use testing tools (multimeter, etc.).
Experience in field service or electrical maintenance preferred.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel within Bengaluru for site service calls.

Preferred Experience:

02 years of experience in electrical maintenance or similar field service roles.
Experience with EV charging stations (AC/DC chargers) will be an added advantage.
