Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ETL Tester with 5+ years of hands-on experience in data validation, data migration testing, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in validating large-scale data migrations from AWS to GCP, including Postgres to AlloyDB, Presto to BigQuery, and S3 to GCS. Python scripting experience for automation is a must. This is an onsite role based in Bengaluru, and we are looking for immediate joiners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end data validation and ETL testing for migration projects from AWS to GCP.
• Validate and test data migration from:
• Postgres to AlloyDB
• Presto to BigQuery
• Amazon S3 to Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and data comparison strategies to ensure complete and accurate data migration.
• Write Python scripts for test automation and data comparison tasks.
• Analyze source and target systems for schema differences, data integrity, and transformation logic.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to ensure data accuracy and business rule alignment.
• Identify, log, and track bugs and issues related to data movement and transformation.
• Prepare detailed documentation for test coverage, defects, and validation reports.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Migration Testing
• Hands-on experience in cloud data migration projects, especially AWS to GCP
• Strong knowledge of:
• PostgreSQL and AlloyDB
• Presto and BigQuery
• S3 and GCS
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and test validations
• Excellent understanding of data profiling, data integrity, and data reconciliation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
