Skills & Qualifications : Must-Have : Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex and cloud-based data warehousing solutions. Must-Have : Proficiency in SQL and extensive experience in building, managing, and optimizing ETL pipelines. Must-Have : Proven track record in integrating large-scale data solutions in a dynamic consulting environment. Preferred : Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Preferred : Experience working remotely and within agile development frameworks. Preferred : Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

DESCRIPTION Retail Business Services (RBS) supports Amazon's Retail business growth WW through three core tasks. These are (a) Selection, where RBS sources, creates and enrich ASINs to drive GMS growth (b) Defect Elimination: where RBS resolves inbound supply chain defects and develops root cause fixes to improve free cash flow and (c) supports operational process for WW Retail teams where there is an air gap in the tech stack. The tech team in RBS develops automation that leverages Machine/Deep Learning to scale execution of these high complex tasks that currently require human cognitive skills. Key job responsibilities We are looking for a sharp, experienced Business Analyst(BA) with a diverse skillset and background. As a BA, you will work directly with our business stakeholders to understand their processes, gather and document requirements, and identify solutions to address their needs. Using data analytics technologies and best practices, you will play a key part in translating business requirements into functional specifications and collaborating with technical teams to build scalable systems. You will be responsible for uncovering root causes, trends, and patterns that impact the business, leveraging dashboards and visualizations to provide insights. You will thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment, tackling unstructured and ambiguous problems on highly visible projects and initiatives. You will work with teams to understand key business problems/process to create BRD and build reports that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience on defining requirements, creating business requirement document, understanding business process and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Proficiency in SQL, ETL management, Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualisation tools such as Tableau experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field - Extensive experience in a data engineer or BIE role with a technology company. - Experience with statistical modelling / machine learning. - Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, etc) - High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired. - History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models using IBM Cognos Analytics (10.x/11.x) . Create Framework Manager models , define metadata layers, and ensure data integrity and security. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions. Optimize report performance and ensure usability across various business units. Develop and maintain complex queries, calculations, and data visualizations . Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting of BI solutions. Collaborate with data engineers and DBAs to ensure reliable data sources and efficient ETL processes. Document technical specifications and provide user training and support as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Cognos BI Developer. Proficiency with Cognos Report Studio, Workspace, Query Studio, and Framework Manager . Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases like DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server . Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling , and ETL concepts . Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities: Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using SAS (Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics). Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support business needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Validate data integrity and ensure accuracy in reporting. Document BI processes, methodologies, and workflows. Support data governance, compliance, and security standards. Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data sources and reporting tools. Present findings and recommendations to business users and management. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAS programming and BI reporting. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases. Familiarity with BI tools like SAS Visual Analytics , Tableau, or Power BI is a plus. Ability to work with large datasets and complex data models. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in data visualization and dashboard design. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of advanced SAS procedures (e.g., SAS/STAT, SAS Macro). Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Understanding of business processes in industries like healthcare, finance, or retail. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA or GDPR. Ability to automate reporting processes using scripting or scheduling tools.

Mandatory Skills: Hands on experience in creating ETL jobs Informatica Power Center or any ETL tool Design Architecture, designs and end to end flow of the process to extract transform and load data (for Sr. roles) Ability to understand business requirements into technical specs or document (Sr. roles) Work experience in ETL S2T mapping, sessions, mapplets or reusable components, workflows Scheduling and Sequencing Jobs Do performance tuning of ETL jobs, DB queries and ensure quicker data loading (Sr. roles) Debugging ETL load failures and fix Strong SQL query writing abilities in any one of Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server etc Exposure or work experience in data migration, data warehousing related projects Communication and Articulation skills Desired or Good to have Data Modelling(Create/Understand) Hands on skills using Informatica Cloud (IICS) Understand schema, index, ETL framework and approach towards writing queries Hands on or project experience in Snowflake (on AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience in writing stored procedures, shell scripts Worked in SIT, UAT phases of projects
