ETL & BI Testing Specialist

Role Overview: As an ETL & BI Testing Specialist at IGS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of data processes and driving excellence in Business Intelligence testing. Your attention to detail and expertise in SQL will be utilized to validate complex ETL workflows, BI reports, and dashboards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile environment will be key to delivering high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Perform backend testing on complex ETL workflows and data warehouse systems. - Validate BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data consistency and business logic accuracy. - Develop and execute advanced SQL queries to support testing needs. - Identify, troubleshoot, and document data issues within large datasets. - Utilize tools like JIRA for test management and defect tracking. - Collaborate within Agile teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Key Skills & Qualifications: - Strong expertise in SQL, with the ability to write and analyze complex queries. - Hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing and BI reporting validation. - Experience testing reports built with Tableau or similar tools. - Familiarity with database systems such as Vertica, Oracle, or Teradata. - Proficient in using test and defect management tools, especially JIRA. - Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
