ETL & BI Testing Specialist

Job Description: As an ETL & BI Testing Specialist at IGS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of complex data processes and Business Intelligence systems. Your attention to detail and expertise in backend testing will contribute to maintaining data integrity and driving excellence in BI testing. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. Your responsibilities will include performing backend testing on intricate ETL workflows and data warehouse systems, validating BI reports and dashboards, and executing advanced SQL queries to support testing requirements. You will be tasked with identifying, troubleshooting, and documenting data issues within large datasets, utilizing tools like JIRA for test management and defect tracking. Your role will involve collaborating within Agile teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes. Key Skills & Qualifications: - Demonstrated expertise in SQL, with the ability to write and analyze complex queries. - Hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing and BI reporting validation. - Proficiency in testing reports created with tools like Tableau or similar platforms. - Familiarity with database systems such as Vertica, Oracle, or Teradata. - Skillful use of test and defect management tools, particularly JIRA. - Sound understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
