This role focuses on preparing cost estimates for railing projects, ensuring alignment with client budgets and our company standards. The candidate will work remotely, collaborating with international teams and contractors to estimate timelines, and uphold the financial integrity of projects

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Remotely review ITBs (Invitation to Bid) and digital platforms for project bidding, with a focus on railing systems.
2. Handle multiple bid projects in a remote, fast-paced environment, showcasing excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
3. Use software such as Bluebeam and Stack Estimating for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
4. Collect information from digital project files and for accurate estimation.
5. Maintain communication with customers through emails, calls, and video conferencing for project quotations and relationship management.
6. Conduct risk analysis remotely to identify financial or project-related risks, maintaining and documenting project objectives.
7. Develop and maintain vendor relationships through virtual communications, estimating costs of raw materials and services.
8. Provide remote consultation on project planning, including schedules, manpower needs, and detailed estimate reports or bids.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Estimation, with a background in construction or related industry.
3. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Familiarity with Revit is beneficial.
5. Knowledge: Understanding of construction methods and principles, with an emphasis on Architectural and Structural drawing packages.
6. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret construction documents and technical data remotely.
7. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication in English, capable of effective remote correspondence with international clients and vendors.
8. Adaptability: Organized and detail-oriented, with the capability to adapt to remote working conditions and multi-task effectively.
9. Practical Knowledge: Knowledge of railing systems and relevant structural materials.
10. Remote Relationship Management: Ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships and understand bidding processes remotely.
