Billing & Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review

  project plans, specifications, and contract documents

  to understand scope and requirements.
  
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather data for

  cost estimation

• Analyze drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs to determine quantities and pricing.
  
• Conduct

  site visits

  to gather field data and assess site conditions for cost impact.
  
• Prepare detailed and accurate

  cost estimates

  , including materials, labor, equipment, and indirect costs.
  
• Source and verify

  material and equipment prices

  from suppliers and subcontractors.
  
• Identify and incorporate

  project risks and contingencies

  into estimates.
  
• Create and maintain

  cost breakdowns

  , itemized budgets, and supporting documentation.
  
• Participate in

  bid review meetings

  , providing clarifications and presenting estimates.
  
• Coordinate with procurement for vendor and subcontractor evaluation and cost inputs.
  
• Develop and implement

  project-specific billing templates and processes

• Track and monitor

  project costs and billing

  to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  
• Liaise with clients to resolve billing discrepancies or clarifications.
  
• Maintain complete billing documentation per company standards and audit compliance.
  
• Generate

  financial and billing reports

  for internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Continuously update estimates and costs based on project changes or site inputs.
  
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all estimation and billing records.

Preferred Qualification:
