ESG Engine Core Engineer, AS

You will be joining as an ESG Engine Core Engineer based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be a part of the DWS ESG Engines ESG Engine Core Team, which is an integral part of DWS international Platform Sustainability Team. The team plays a crucial role in the investment process by utilizing the proprietary DWS ESG Engine that leverages data from multiple vendors to provide comprehensive ESG ratings for over 10,000 companies. As an ESG Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the technical backbone of the ESG Engine using languages such as SAS, Perl, Python, and ensuring a robust framework to enable business engineering. You will also be responsible for supporting algorithmic engineers in utilizing domain-specific languages and developing tools for change and release management. To excel in this role, you are expected to have advanced coding experience in at least one of Perl, Python, SAS, or a similar language, along with a background in professional software development. A STEM degree at the master's level, proficiency in MS-Office, and strong analytical skills are essential for this position. Additionally, you should possess competencies such as self-motivation, intercultural competence, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
