Job Summary:
ERP System Administrator
The role also acts as a key backup to the ERP Director & other Technical Specialists.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
System Knowledge & Maintenance:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the ERP systems file structure, workflows, and processes.
- Understand how K8 supports business processes across various departments and ensure system configurations meet business needs.
ERP System Configuration & Customization:
- User setup and configuration
- Configure and customize ERP solutions to meet the organization’s requirements.
- Perform regular audits of the ERP system functions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Technical Support:
- Serve as primary point of contact for application-related issues and provide troubleshooting and support for end users, coordinating with Vendor technical support as necessary.
- Resolve user issues related to K8; provide guidance on best practices.
- Log, track and manage support calls logged via the service desk.
System Updates & Testing:
- Assist with testing new releases and system changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Testing possible issues as well as related fixes when delivered.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across the ERP system.
- Oversee data migration, validation, and transformation processes during new system rollouts or supporting project deliverables.
User Training & Documentation:
- Provide training to end-users and other stakeholders to ensure efficient usage of the system.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference and training.
Troubleshooting & Testing:
- Identify areas for system performance improvement and proactively suggest optimizations.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to performance, security, and functionality.
- Provide expert-level support to Department Heads and Super Users for complex technical inquiries.
Backup to the ERP Director & Other team specialists:
- Act as the primary backup to the ERP Director & other Technical Specialists for technical oversight and decision-making.
Other Duties:
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the ERP Director or senior leadership.
