Job Summary:

ERP System Administrator

The role also acts as a key backup to the ERP Director & other Technical Specialists.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

System Knowledge & Maintenance:

    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the ERP systems file structure, workflows, and processes.
    • Understand how K8 supports business processes across various departments and ensure system configurations meet business needs.

ERP System Configuration & Customization:

    • User setup and configuration
    • Configure and customize ERP solutions to meet the organization’s requirements.
    • Perform regular audits of the ERP system functions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Technical Support:

    • Serve as primary point of contact for application-related issues and provide troubleshooting and support for end users, coordinating with Vendor technical support as necessary.
    • Resolve user issues related to K8; provide guidance on best practices.
    • Log, track and manage support calls logged via the service desk.

System Updates & Testing:

    • Assist with testing new releases and system changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Testing possible issues as well as related fixes when delivered.

Data Management & Reporting:

    • Ensure data integrity and consistency across the ERP system.
    • Oversee data migration, validation, and transformation processes during new system rollouts or supporting project deliverables.

User Training & Documentation:

    • Provide training to end-users and other stakeholders to ensure efficient usage of the system.
    • Document technical processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference and training.

Troubleshooting & Testing:

    • Identify areas for system performance improvement and proactively suggest optimizations.
    • Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to performance, security, and functionality.
    • Provide expert-level support to Department Heads and Super Users for complex technical inquiries.

Backup to the ERP Director & Other team specialists:

    • Act as the primary backup to the ERP Director & other Technical Specialists for technical oversight and decision-making.

Other Duties:

    • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the ERP Director or senior leadership.
