Job Description

As an ERP - Senior Specialist - PLM(PDM) at NTT DATA, your role involves designing, building, and deploying SAP-based ERP solutions. You will be responsible for understanding the business requirements, preparing as-is to be, configuring changes, data conversion processes, training end users, and addressing their day-to-day queries. Additionally, you will manage the PLM System, facilitating and tracking product development from concept through production. Your tasks will include estimating, designing, and delivering solutions independently, documenting functional specifications, design specifications, and development requests, as well as identifying gaps, issues, and providing work around solutions. You will work with stakeholders such as Business and IT clients onsite and offshore, participate in upgrade activities, and effectively communicate project statuses while managing timelines and action items. Key Responsibilities: - Solid SAP configuration experience in SAP PPM and PDM areas, including knowledge of Opentext, DMS, and Workflow - Expertise in customizing and delivering functional specifications for enhancements of SAP PLM solution, mainly on PLM Web UI - Experience in PLM modules like Recipe Development, SAP Specification Database, SAP Document Management (EZ DMS), SAP Engineering Change Management, SAP workflow, Bill of Materials, and Data Migration - Working on interfaces and integration with 3rd party systems - Experience as an SAP PDM/PLM Consultant in at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members, including direct interaction with US clients Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of relevant experience - Ability to provide L1 and L2 support for Application Maintenance engagement, including handling access, password, sign-on issues, application down incidents, user requests, and interface issues - Willingness to work on a 10x5 model (1.30 pm to 11.30 pm IST) on working days and be flexible for weekend on-call for Hi-Sev/Hi-Pri tickets - Strong experience in support engagements using ITSM/Ticket management tools with an understanding of ticket life cycle and escalation procedures - Capability to perform root cause analysis on repeated support issues, provide continuous improvements, and automate manual processes - Readiness to be cross-trained on interfacing apps, additional skills, and tools to enhance customer service - Strong team player and ability to escalate issues to Lead/PM/DM in a timely manner NTT DATA is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
