Epicor ERP Technical Consultant

As an Epicor ERP Technical Consultant at this well-established IT Solution organization with 25+ years of experience, you will be responsible for developing solutions based on customer requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting system analysis and detailed design processes to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of the end product. - Developing detailed designs based on identified gaps between Epicor ERP and customer requirements. - Creating and executing unit test cases. - Developing new forms, customizing existing forms using Visual Studio c#, Epicor Embedded Tools, and upgrading customizations to newer versions. - Designing custom reports using Crystal Reports or SSRS. - Providing post-deployment support to the implementation team until the product is live and transitioning to the support phase. - Managing software configuration and source code control. - Generating various statistics and periodic reports as per company requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Programming/Application Development for ERP systems. - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with a major in Software Engineering or equivalent. - Development and implementation experience in Epicor ERP 10 or above. - Certification in Epicor ERP Tools. - Experience in Visual Studio.NET platform and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher. - Development experience using Object-Oriented and Service-Oriented Architecture. - Proficiency in c# and linq. - Knowledge of web applications using the Microsoft .Net platform. - Experience in developing reports using reporting tools like SSRS or Crystal Reports. - Ability to create and perform unit test cases independently. - Familiarity with test case management and defects management software. - Previous work experience in an Agile environment and knowledge of tools like TFS and version control systems. - Willingness to travel abroad for 1 to 3 months at a stretch. - Proficiency in Microsoft products stack. In addition to your Indian salary as per industry and experience, when onsite at a client in East Africa, you will receive additional daily allowance, shared accommodation with other team members or hotel stay, transport to/from the client office, security, and travel insurance. Client onsite visits can range from 1 week to 2-3 months, depending on the requirement.
