Epicor ERP Technical Consultant

You will be responsible for developing solutions based on customer requirements. This will involve carrying out system analysis and the detailed design process to ensure timely delivery within budget. Your tasks will include: - Performing detailed design based on the gaps identified between Epicor ERP and the customer requirements. - Creating and executing unit test cases. - Developing functionalities such as new forms, customizing existing forms using Visual Studio C#, Epicor Embedded Tools, and upgrading customizations to newer versions. - Designing custom reports using Crystal Reports or SSRS. - Providing post-deployment support to the implementation team until the product is live and transitioning to the support phase. - Managing software configuration and source code control. - Generating various statistics and periodic reports as per company requirements. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a major in Software Engineering or equivalent. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in programming/application development for ERP systems, specifically in Epicor ERP 10 or above. You must also be certified in Epicor ERP Tools and have experience in Visual Studio .NET platform and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher. Proficiency in c# and linq, as well as knowledge of web applications using the Microsoft .NET platform, is essential. Moreover, you should have developed reports using reporting tools like SSRS or Crystal Reports and be able to independently create and perform unit test cases. Familiarity with test case management and defects management software is required. Previous experience working in an environment following standard Software Development Methodologies like Agile and using tools like TFS and version control systems is expected. Furthermore, you must be willing to travel abroad for a period of one to three months at a stretch.
