EOS design and Architect

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture Design:

• Design robust OpenShift architectures, including cluster topology, networking, and storage solutions.
• Implement best practices for multi-zone and multi-region deployments.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities.

1. Migration Design and Optimization:

• Assess existing infrastructure and workloads for migration readiness.
• Develop detailed migration plans for containerization, workload transfer, and data migration.
• Execute migrations with minimal downtime and mitigate associated risks.

1. VMware and Pure Storage Integration:

• Design OpenShift solutions integrated with VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, NSX).
• Configure and manage Pure Storage solutions (FlashArray, FlashBlade) for high-performance storage.
• Optimize compatibility and performance between OpenShift, VMware, and Pure Storage.

1. CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps Workflows:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines tailored for OpenShift.
• Integrate DevOps workflows using OpenShift-native and third-party tools.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes.

1. Scalability and Security:

• Ensure architecture and migration plans can scale for future workloads.
• Implement security best practices including RBAC, network policies, and encryption.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to maintain compliance.

1. Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to align strategies with business needs.
• Document architecture, migration strategies, workflows, and configurations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to teams on OpenShift best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in OpenShift architecture and migration strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.
• Expertise in VMware tools (vSphere, vCenter, NSX) and Pure Storage (FlashArray, FlashBlade).
• Knowledge of networking (ingress, load balancing, DNS) and storage (persistent volumes, dynamic provisioning).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD) and DevOps workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, and security in cloud-native environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
