Environmental Graphic Designer

Job Summary

The Environmental Graphics Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering creative graphic solutions for physical spaces, including wall graphics, signage systems, glass films, wayfinding, and branding installations. This role involves close collaboration with architects, interior designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs are visually impactful, functional, and aligned with brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design environmental graphics for spaces such as corporate offices, retail stores, hospitals, educational institutions, and public spaces.
• Create wall murals, window graphics, ceiling graphics, wayfinding systems, and signage layouts based on project briefs.
• Work with clients, architects, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into design concepts.
• Prepare accurate print-ready artwork and ensure designs meet material, size, and production specifications.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure correct execution of designs on various substrates.
• Stay updated on trends in environmental design, materials, and installation techniques.
• Maintain brand consistency across all graphic applications in physical environments.
• Conduct site visits when required to take measurements, assess feasibility, and oversee installation quality.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong creativity and ability to visualize design in three-dimensional spaces.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); CorelDRAW is a plus.
• Knowledge of large-format printing, signage fabrication, and installation processes.
• Understanding of color theory, typography, and spatial layout principles.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and integrate designs seamlessly with interiors.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in environmental/space graphics, signage design, or related fields.
• Experience in corporate branding projects, large-format graphics, or wayfinding systems is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
