Environment Analyst

As an environment sustainability manager, you will play a crucial role in influencing the decrease of consumption and generation of by-products per tonne of production while minimizing emissions. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing gaseous emissions from plastic burning and other impurities in PCB smelting & Cu scrap treatment, aiming for zero liquid discharge, and collaborating with statutory authorities. Additionally, you will need to adapt to recent legislations to significantly reduce emissions and discharge. Key Responsibilities: - Manage gaseous emissions from plastic burning and impurities in PCB smelting & Cu scrap treatment - Achieve zero liquid discharge - Collaborate with statutory authorities - Plan necessary changes to comply with recent legislations for emission reduction - Ensure operational excellence by providing budgeted plant water, soft water, de-mineralized water through WTP, ETP, RO Plant - Conduct sewage treatment and discharge as per specifications - Reduce expenses related to WTP/ETP operations - Ensure compliance by conducting annual audits with external environmental auditors, filing Environment Statement by 30th September each year - Obtain environmental approvals and maintain continuous compliance - Monitor and enhance team performance - Arrange training for WTP/ETP/RO teams through specialized agencies and IITs for best practices - Provide environmental training for operations team and engineers If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them for inclusion in the final output.,
