Entity Controller

As an Entity Controller at Aeries Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, and compliance across multiple legal entities within the organization. Your role will involve ensuring accurate financial consolidation, regulatory adherence, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and governance. You will be expected to prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all group entities in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. It will be essential to ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financials across subsidiaries while maintaining compliance with local, regional, and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate and manage external audits and statutory filings. Developing and enforcing internal control frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity will be a critical aspect of your role. Monitoring and improving financial processes, systems, and controls across entities, as well as leading SOX compliance implementation and other regulatory control initiatives, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will oversee entity-level budgeting and forecasting processes, analyze financial performance and variances, and provide insights to senior leadership. Supporting strategic planning and financial modeling for new initiatives and expansions will be key in this role. Managing and mentoring a team of accountants and financial analysts across entities, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Operations, and acting as a financial advisor to entity heads and business unit leaders will be crucial aspects of your job. Additionally, driving automation and system enhancements for financial reporting and consolidation, leading ERP implementations or upgrades across entities, and ensuring consistency in accounting policies and procedures across the group will be part of your responsibilities. Preferred attributes for this role include experience in managing entities across different geographies and currencies, familiarity with transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and tax structuring, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities.
