We acquire or partner with digital media brands (content websites now > youtube channels, social media creators, podcasts, newsletters in the future) and scale them though tech, content and distribution infrastructure.

We currently work with ~25 brands across different niches with ~50M monthly pageviews under management wherein each brand has been scaled 3-10x. Our vision is to become the largest distributed digital media company in the world.

LH2 is being built by second-time founders who have scaled tech platforms with hundreds of millions of users.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, witty, and pop culture-obsessed Entertainment Writer to join our team.

If you have a keen interest in celebrity scandals, viral TikToks, and the latest streaming hits, and

you know how to turn those takes into engaging, well-researched content, you might be exactly

who we’re looking for.

Key Responsibilities

• Write 4-6 articles per day (400–600 words each), covering entertainment news, viral
• culture, memes, and celebrity stories
• Pitch fresh, timely angles daily that align with brand’s irreverent, conversational tone
• Monitor trends across platforms like X (Twitter), TikTok, Reddit, and Instagram
• Conduct quick, reliable fact-checking and link to relevant sources (yes, receipts matter)
• Create listicles, reactions, or commentary pieces based on viral phenomena
• Work with editors to refine headlines for SEO and shareability without losing voice

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of entertainment writing experience for digital media outlets
• Background in journalism (degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred)
• A nose for viral content and obsessive attention to what’s trending right now
• Strong command of U.S. pop culture, celebrity news, memes, and internet behavior
• Ability to write clean, clear, and compelling copy quickly, without sounding robotic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Google Trends, and social monitoring tools is a plus
