Description
You will be working as a Salesforce Developer in Motive's Enterprise Systems team where you will be responsible for implementing scalable Salesforce related technical solutions that will significantly impact Motive's growth and global expansion. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing efficient and quality code supported by Salesforce platform - Understanding the scope & timeline of assigned programs - Proficiently working in an integrated CI/CD space - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise - Conducting product demonstrations in Sprint Reviews, presenting technical solutions through POC as applicable - Actively participating in scrum ceremonies - Responding to Production disruptions of any kind and resolving them as they happen - Adhering to Salesforce best practices, maintaining code documentation, and writing/maintaining test classes for all custom development - Writing maintainable code with extensive test coverage, source control, adherence to release cycles, and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices - Working closely with technical SMEs to analyze business needs and design tailored solutions using Salesforce products and platform capabilities - Offering recommendations for optimizing and enhancing existing Salesforce implementations to maximize business value - Actively participating in maintaining Production Quality, Tech Debt Control, and DevOps procedures and processes - Contributing to technical documentation - Staying updated with the latest Salesforce features, updates, and best practices through continuous learning Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - 7+ years of Salesforce application development experience - Salesforce CPQ certification, Platform Developer I certification, or higher level certification - Expertise in CPQ, LWC, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, and Javascript - Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud; Commerce Cloud experience preferred - Hands-on experience in implementing and executing CPQ solutions - Experience with Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API - Extensive hands-on experience in integrating Salesforce with third-party and external systems - Practical experience leveraging GitHub Copilot to enhance coding efficiency and productivity - Experience with Web UI frameworks in Visualforce pages or Lightning components - Proficiency in CI/CD DevOps procedures, GitHub, GearSet; familiarity with sfdx is a plus - Excellent communication and analytical skills - Experience with Zuora Billing, Netsuite is a plus - Experience with TDD, QA testing, and framework testing is a plus Motive values creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
