Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing advisory to the Enterprise Headcount Planning team, leading in from the enterprise strategic imperatives, goals and controls around including but not limited to C&B, pyramid, in-year promotions, attrition and bench volumes. During the annual planning exercise that usually lasts 4 months, the role also demands a hands-on approach, requiring the incumbent to develop multi-dimensional and configurable annual headcount plans utilizing advanced statistical modeling techniques and cutting-edge technology. The incumbent will also be tasked with producing multi-dimensional executive reports and dashboards at a high frequency to support strategic decision-making. Regular interaction with senior executives like Global and Service Line COOs, CHRO and CFO and other internal functions may also be part of the job. Overall, this role is multi-faceted, encompassing organizational and process redesign through the application of advanced technologies and leading change management initiatives to drive enterprise-wide transformation.
Responsibilities
Key Deliverables/Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:
- Annual Enterprise headcount plans (multiple versions)
- Provide advisory to the Enterprise Headcount Planning team and assist them to build their quarterly and monthly plans
- Create executive reports to track actual from plan. Also conceptualize and implement additional metrics as needed to drive effective quantitative analysis and insights
- Coordinate with Corporate functions Business leaders and IT in identifying gaps in existing plans processes and conduct root cause analysis to drive change
- Occasionally lead process transformation programs across the organization towards timely completion and provide project updates on a consistent basis to top management about strategy adjustments and progress
- Prepare for enterprise audit/risk reviews/governance reviews
- Proactively look for optimization opportunities in business operations
- Liaising with the IT team to design plan track and monitor rollout of corporate systems designed for process reengineering
Qualifications:(Experience Skills)
- 15+ years of relevant multi-functional experience in Enterprise Workforce Strategy & planning (preferred) of a Tier 1 IT Services firm or Fortune 500 Manufacturing Consulting Automotive FMCG companies
- Excellent academic background with educational qualification from a Tier 1 Institute like IITs or equivalent is a must Advanced degrees in economics or finance is welcome
- Strong understanding of the IT business operations & financial metrics
- Strong capability on solution modelling scenario building and sensitivity analysis
- Proven track record of creating annual enterprise workforce plans or other similar that implement techniques for cost optimization lean execution cycles and waste reduction
- Analytical Problem Solving & Time Management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Hands on experience in excel presentations and working on large amount of data
