Enterprise Architect

We are looking for a freelance Enterprise Solution Architect to define and govern the architecture of an enterprise-grade, security-critical policy and event control platform.

The system is a distributed, stateful backend platform operating across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid deployments, with strong requirements around e*_vent determinism, auditability, security, availability, and human-in-the-loop governance*_.

Responsibilities:

· Define overall system architecture and service/module boundaries.

· Translate a detailed SRS into a coherent, scalable technical design.

· Design data, eventing, and consistency models for high-volume, security-sensitive systems.

· Define security, identity, RBAC, and tenant isolation architecture.

· Ensure resilience, offline tolerance, and safe failure handling.

Required Experience

· 12+ years in backend / system architecture roles.

· Prior experience with security-critical or control-oriented platforms (e.g., access control, policy engines, SCADA, telecom, infra systems).

· Strong distributed systems and event-driven architecture background.

· Experience with on-prem and hybrid deployments.

· Comfortable working from large SRS documents.

· Validate architectural feasibility of product-guided operational workflows.

Engagement

· Freelance / consulting role

· 6–12 weeks (extendable)

· Remote with periodic review discussions

This role is hands-on architecture and governance, not people management.

Not meant for UI/UX architects, DevOps-only architects, Cloud-only solution architects or Architects who have never designed stateful, safety-adjacent systems.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
