Job Summary As a Support Engineer in this space, you will be responsible for supporting enterprise applications end to end. You will be responsible for working on incidents, service requests, problem tickets & change management activities. You are expected to drive issue resolution and ensure successful delivery as per expectations working with teams in US and India. You will be expected to work on weekends & public holidays. On a daily basis, you are expected to carry out the below duties: Should be able to grasp support issues and know the corresponding functional mapping Should be able to understand the nuances of Enterprise Design Should be able to resolve technical issues in the system Assist with systems integrations Manage tickets and requests for the application queues. Maintain and update techno functional documents and procedures. Manage coordination across various technical and functional teams Work on automating tasks to improve customer experience. This involves coding / scripting based on the technology that you are supporting Job Requirements Experience with SQL scripting basic UNIX & PL/SQL query buildin Comfortable with command line functions such as connecting to remote servers and tailing or searching log files using basic Unix/linux command Nice to have : Informatica IICS, Shell Scripting & SAP Callidus Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Education A minimun of 1-2 years experience working in an IT environment. B-Tech in computer science, engineering or relevant field
